Blues Suffer In Game Of Two Halves

Whitby Town started the NPL Premier season with defeat at the Towbar Express Stadium.

Nathan Thomas had put Town ahead inside 14 minutes after he nodded home from Alfie Doherty's right-wing cross.

However, two goals in the second half secured victory for visitors Bamber Bridge.
