Whitby Town saw their four-match winning run end at Lancaster City on Saturday.
The Seasiders were without injured midfielder Lewis Hawkins and struggled to get into the clash at The Giant Axe.
Town fell behind early on and were fortunate to only find themselves 1-0 down at half-time.
They struggled to test the hosts and the match was put to bed midway through the second half with City's second.
Whitby Town TV spoke with Blues boss Nathan Haslam after the final whistle:
Whitby are 13th and remain ten points clear of the NPL Premier relegation zone.
They visit promotion-chasing Warrington Town on Tuesday night looking to complete a league double.
