Blues Back To Winning Ways With Ex-Scarborough Star On Target

Jake Charles netted his first-ever competitive goal for Whitby Town as they won in Derbyshire on Tuesday night.

The Seasiders netted twice in the first half as they saw off Matlock Town 2-0.

They thumped the Derbyshire side 5-1 back in March and were similarly comfortable on Tuesday.

However, the Gladiators did have the better of the second half, clipping the woodwork at one point.

Town are again on their travels, on Saturday, when they visit Warrington Rylands, in the NPL Premier Division.
