It was an entertaining game under the lights at the Flamingo Land Stadium, with a draw a fair result.
Brackley started the brighter of the two sides going close with a header from Glenn Walker going just wide and an Adam Rooney header being tipped over the bar by Scarborough keeper Joe Cracknell.
The Seadogs went close with a Michael Coulson shot blocked.
Lewis Maloney was licking his lips when Boro were awarded a free kick just outside the penalty area but his strike hit the bar and stayed out, somehow.
Rooney hit the woodwork for Brackley too and the crowd of 1364 (10 from Brackley) were all satisfied with a point.
Scarborough's new signing Ryan Qualter was given Man Of The Match after helping Boro keep a clean sheet.
Boro Chairman Trevor Bull arranged for a pint of beer to be given to the 10 travelling fans, which was very much appreciated by the travelling supporters:
Thank you so much to the @safc Chairman for giving us @BrackleyTownFC fans 10 pints of lager as a thank you for making the journey. Thank you also to the lovely lady who brought them round to us in the segregated corner. We all really appreciated the kindness 🍺
