Only one of our senior cricket sides lost on Saturday- that was Bridlington.
The YPN Championship side won the toss at Carlton Towers and opted to bat first.
Opener Sam Tennant was the driving force early on but when he was trapped lbw for 57, it started a collapse from 95/3 to 133/7.
Josh Garbutt (32) and Andy Smith (17) put on a half-century partnership for the eighth wicket but the last two wickets fell quickly as Brid slumped to 188 all out.
Aided by a 41-run opening partnership, the hosts sped to their target in less than 33 overs, losing five wickets. Thomas Hudson grabbed three scalps and there was a wicket each for Ben Jackson and Ricky Robinson as the home side claimed a five-wicket win.
Elsewhere in the division, Folkton & Flixton secured a nail-biting victory over Malton & Old Malton.
Put in to bat, the visitors were indebted to Tom Norman who scored a superb century first up, his 112 including 13 fours and a six.
Norman and Harry Walmsley put on a pivotal partnership of 125 for the third wicket as the hosts closed on 223/4 from their 50 overs.
Malton started their reply well, putting on 56 for the first wicket before Charlie Colley was introduced and soon struck.
Colley took 2 for 43, but it was Elliot Hatton who did the most damage with 6 for 43- Walmsley also struck with a sharp caught and bowled.
It took some great composure as Malton fell from 189/4 to be bowled all out for 207, with two overs left, securing a 16-run win for the villagers.
Scarborough continue their bright campaign in the division above.
Piet Rinke's Boro are fourth in the YPN Premier Division after a dominant display at North Marine Road.
Half centuries from Duncan Brown and Romario Roach saw the home side to a modest 205/9 from their 50 overs, after being asked to bat first.
However, the Scarborough bowlers were in imperious form and York-side Clifton Alliance never recovered from slipping to 37/4 and 69/7.
Daniel Robson's five overs yielded four wickets and just eight runs with Linden Gray picking up 3/30 and Breidyn Schaper 2/30. Adam Newington also contributed as Alliance were skittled for 123, inside 36 overs, some 82 runs short.
Whitby celebrated a rare win as they look to rebuild their North Yorkshire South Durham Division One campaign.
Visitors Marton Seconds chose to bat first at the Turnbull Ground but were soon regretting that call as Kobi Boocock delivered 4 for 27, with the Middlesbrough side 0/2 at one stage.
They found the experienced pair of seamer Ricky Hall (2/31) and spinner Mark Jackson (3/14) in imperious form and subsided to 159 all out in 32.2 overs.
Whitby began their reply in confident mood- putting on 63 for the first wicket. Opener Lewis Brearley's brisk 50 from 56 balls set the tone and Theo Clarke (52 not out) saw his side home despite a late clatter of wickets. Kai Morris' men reached their target, by four wickets, and with 12 overs remaining.
