A live performance event commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the 1954 Scarborough Lifeboat disaster, based on memories of the local fishing community.

Interweaving eyewitness accounts with acapella song to uncover the extraordinary events of that night, this live event is performed by actors and a local choir and illuminated by lanterns handcrafted by Sea Cadets. The project is supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the RNLI, with refreshments will be available at both performances.
The performance takes place twice at the Sea Cadets Unit, E Sandgate, Scarborough, on 23rd November at 4.30pm and 6.30pm, respectively, as part of Scarborough Lights.
