Magical community lantern parade on Friday 29th November starting at 5:30 pm.
Look out for the magical community lantern parade on Friday 29th November, starting at 5.30 on Peasholm Drive on its way to the opening of Scarborough Sparkle at the open air theatre.
Take a moment to look at the map for the best places to stand and watch the parade - and as always please keep the paths clear for the lantern bearers to pass before following the end of the parade to Scarborough Sparkle @scarboroughoat . Please be careful where you stand and keep clear of roadsides and the lake.
And don’t forget to give our community groups a wave and a cheer as they walk by!

Our annual community lantern parade is now in its eighth year, and we have more groups involved this year than ever before, from across the whole town. We’d like to thank @northyorksc events team for their continued support in helping to stage this event.
