A Night At The Folk Club

This event will be a celebration of community, music, and giving back, and we hope it will bring people together for a wonderful evening.

This special concert will feature a fantastic line-up of local talent, including:
🎵 Scarborough Community Choir – Led by our talented Musical Director, Bill Scott, performing uplifting folk songs full of harmony and joy.
🎻 Sandside Orchestra – Conducted by Bill Scott. A local favourite, bringing beautiful orchestral arrangements to the evening.
🕺 Yorkshire Coast Morris Dancers – Showcasing lively, traditional Morris dancing with a rustic folk flavour.
🎤 Soloists John Barret & Tim Moon – Talented local musicians and singers bringing their unique artistry to the stage.
Expect a rich variety of folk music, from the beautiful and timeless compositions of Vaughan Williams to energetic and well-loved traditional folk tunes, accompanied by the rhythm and movement of our Morris dancers.
Supporting a Great Cause Beyond being a night of wonderful music, this concert is all about giving back to the community. Proceeds will go to Scarborough Athletic Community Trust, a fantastic organization dedicated to:
✅ Providing free football and physical activity sessions to individuals who would otherwise struggle to access these opportunities.
✅ Offering special sessions for children with additional learning needs in schools, ensuring every child gets a chance to participate and enjoy sports.
✅ Running programs for young people with disabilities, making sports and physical activities more inclusive for everyone.
This concert is about bringing people together—not just through music, but in support of a cause that truly makes a difference in people’s lives.
